Install the official version
- Install the official version from diskanalyzer.com and first scan the system drive by reading only.
Identify the owner
For a large game folder, distinguish installed assets, add-ons and recordings by path. Use size sorting and the treemap to find candidates, then inspect the folder in Explorer. Large size alone does not justify deletion.
Free space through ownership-aware cleanup
Determine ownership and recovery before cleanup. Same-drive moves do not free drive space. Separate copy verification from source deletion and measure before/after free space.

Measure the result
Record drive free space before cleanup and rescan after relocating unwanted personal files. Logical and allocated sizes can differ because of compression or hard links. A mismatch with Explorer totals does not by itself indicate missing files.
Choose the cleanup method
Use application uninstallers or game-launcher move and removal functions. Relocate personal files separately. Avoid manually pruning Windows, Program Files or application databases. Verify relocated files and the free-space result before deleting originals.
