Start verification from the game library

Find Rocket League in the Epic Games Launcher Library. Open its three-dot menu, choose Manage and then Verify. Use the installed game entry, not its store page.
Allow the check and any repair to finish before launching the game.
Confirm Epic versus Steam ownership; verification menus differ. In Epic, inspect the library entry together with its install location rather than searching unrelated settings folders.

Check installation state if Verify is missing

If the entry says Install, check whether the current launcher recognizes an installed copy. For an external drive, check its connection and drive letter.

Clear the web cache for launcher display problems

If the Library or Manage screen itself malfunctions, exit Epic Games from its system-tray icon and open the path below with Windows+R.
Remove only the webcache, webcache_4147 and webcache_4430 folders listed by Epic if present, then reopen the launcher. Keep the rest of Saved and the game’s save folders.

Compare startup after repair under the same configuration

First launch without mods or helper tools after verification. Preserve modifications separately instead of immediately restoring replaced game files. Confirm menu access before adding helpers individually.
If menus work but online access fails, record the connection error separately and consult service or account guidance rather than repeatedly verifying. Pre-menu termination belongs to crash diagnosis.
Report verification completion, launch results, and launcher identity. The official saved-data statement applies to Verify, not deleting save folders or every reinstallation action. Save deletion is unnecessary for verification.
