Start verification from the game library

Find Rocket League in the Epic Games Launcher Library. Open its three-dot menu, choose Manage and then Verify. Use the installed game entry, not its store page.
Allow the check and any repair to finish before launching the game.

Check installation state if Verify is missing

If the entry says Install, check whether the current launcher recognizes an installed copy. For an external drive, check its connection and drive letter.
Check any active download or update first. If you recently moved the folder manually, record its previous location and consult support before starting a second installation elsewhere.

Check whether verification is still working

Compare launcher progress and disk activity in Task Manager over time. Zero network traffic alone does not prove a stall because the check can read local files.
If progress and disk activity remain unchanged, record the error and time. When the launcher can be closed normally, restart it and retry once; report recurring failures with drive and free-space information.

Clear the web cache for launcher display problems

If the Library or Manage screen itself malfunctions, exit Epic Games from its system-tray icon and open the path below with Windows+R.
Remove only the webcache, webcache_4147 and webcache_4430 folders listed by Epic if present, then reopen the launcher. Keep the rest of Saved and the game’s save folders.
